Robot Class Pack

SIM staff has worked with educators and mentors for years. Sim has:

• Supported robot competition

• Help setup makerspaces

• Mentored teachers and students on how to use makerspaces

• Mentored teachers and students in CAD, Electronics, Software, Manufacturing, and Engineering.

To aid in this effort, SIM has developed a Class Pack. The Class Pack is a robot kit that allows teenagers to make a robot using readily available machine shop tools such as drills, saws, 3d printers, and other. This robot, when completed, is able to compete in competitions SIM helps setup and support.

The Class Pack is designed to be as low cost as possible and to use tools and supplies that are readily available.
