Wayco joined Jacobsen Innovations (JI) full time in October 2017. Prior to that he had the sole responsibility of Fabrication for Steve Jacobsen’s companies for 26 years. A member of the senior management team responsible for day to day operations, budgeting and forecasting, facilities, EHS, design processes and all manufacturing and manufacturing controls. Wayco implemented the first Quality Systems and managed compliance for UL, CE and all Government contract auditing. He oversaw all outside processing and contract fabrication support. He possesses strong skills in troubleshooting and problem solving. The prime lead on the company’s largest projects responsible for fabrications, installations and training of projects such Disney, Jurassic Park, Bellagio, Honda, XOS, Big Arm, Dextrous Arm Classified Projects and many more. Once regarded by the chief manufacturing engineer of Honda motors as providing the most complete and thorough transfer of technology in Honda’s history.
Curtis has worked in electronics since 1983 on fantastic projects such as Bellagio Fountains, Disney Humanoids, Research Humanoids, Military Equipment, and other projects. Presently, he enjoys working with SIM to pass on his decades of knowledge to aspiring engineers.
John has spent years as a robotic engineer and has had the chance to work on many amazing projects such as wearable robotic suits, humanoids, power supplies and hydraulics.
